- 3 / 5By Mick BurmeisterI think it would've been better - if they'd served the mushy peas in a separate tub, like in every other chip shop I can remember, instead of just ladling them over the chips like it was slurry curry or something. I didn't complain at the time because I was too astonished, and wondered if it was a more interesting way of eating them.
It wasn't.
Having said that, I've had excellent fish & chips from them in the past. At one time they did plaice - I think it was in their name then - and I reckon it's a big shame they stopped.May 16, 2017
